We went for an impromptu hike, yesterday. We went an hour inland 1 mile west of Julian. As we were driving to our hiking destination. We were enjoying the curvy road and beautiful sights. We also noticed the temperature dropping by 15-20 degrees by the time we reached our starting point. That may give you a clue to our hodge podge look in the photos below. We have shorts and stocking caps/jackets. The sun would peer in and out through the clouds causing our pictures to be a bit darker than their usual bright hue. I do hope you enjoy!

Woodson Mountain Hike
Noah and I went for a hike to Woodson Mountain, outside of Poway and just before you get to Romona. It is known for the rather large boulders and this natural formation they call the "potato flake". Noah was the brave one to stand out on it and I held my breath the whole time he was on it. However, I got to play a giant and pretend I was holding it up and had people walking on my shoulder. I am thankful Noah was with me because during the end of our journey he had to move one of the boulders off of our path. Just kidding! We did have a good time together. During our last 2 miles we walked through what felt like an enchanted forest. It was so pretty with the light coming through and all. Below please find a few of our pics we took during our hiking adventure. Enjoy!

Friends Wedding in Savannah, Ga.
I arrived in Savannah, Ga. on Friday evening and was surprised by how similar it felt to New Orleans to me. The old oak trees with spanish moss hanging from them and the iron rails on many of the homes. Downtown Savannah is laid out rather nicely there are no less than 20 squares which are basically a piece of green space with a monument to document Savannah's rich history significance and parking benches to take it all in. I did see the square where Forest Gump sat in the movie however the bench is no longer there to see. It was wonderful to partake in my friends wedding. She was a former co-worker of mine. The joy in the eyes of two young adults taking and saying their vows is just a moment I can never tire of and enjoy being witness to. Below you will see some of the pics I took during my travels and notice my wheels I was given. Absolutely loved driving the Fiat 500 it was decked out with leather interior and a sport package to boot. Enjoy!
